Overview of the story
During the British occupation of Karpathos, a fierce fire, spreading north from Spoa, threatened the Olymbos area. 200 men from Olymbos and the villages of the north joined together to fight the fire. Kosmas Diamandis and Konstandis Kelepessis were among those men and tell their stories of The Big Fire.
