A Christmas Carol

A Christmas Carol‘ is the iconic Charles Dickens Christmas story, set in 19th century London, about the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge and the visitations he receives from three ghostly apparitions – the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present and the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come. They show him how cruel he has been to those around him during his life. This revelation transforms Scrooge into a kinder, gentler person who, in the happy ending, personifies the spirit of goodwill to all men at Christmas-time.
