Alan King lives in London and spends every spring/early summer, and the autumn, travelling in Greece and the islands. He first visited the country over 40 years ago and has returned year upon year.
His mode of travelling, or modus itineris, is to follow in the footsteps of past authors, visiting the places they wrote about and kicking up traces of the past – “It’s taken me to fantastic places I would never have dreamed of visiting and has led to some great adventures.”
He has digitised a couple of out-of-print books and produced e-book versions of them which integrate with their dedicated websites. You can read about the books and their authors on the websites and download the e-books for free:
